1. Is online booking possible?
Yes, online booking is possible. Depending on the season and room category, there may be requirements such as a minimum stay or fixed arrival and departure days.
If no suitable dates are shown online, you can always send us an inquiry by email or phone.
2. What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in: from 3:00 p.m.
Check-out: until 11:00 a.m.
3. Is an earlier check-in or a later check-out possible?
Yes, depending on room availability, an early check-in or late check-out is possible.
A late check-out until 2:00 p.m. is available for an additional charge (€ 100 per room). This also includes spa access until 7:00 p.m.
4. How can I change or cancel my reservation?
Please contact us by email or phone for any changes or cancellations to your booking. The cancellation terms of your booking apply.
5. Is a deposit required?
Yes. The amount of the deposit varies depending on the season and is stated in your offer or booking confirmation. For special offers, the full amount is charged as a deposit. You can easily pay the deposit through our online payment system after receiving your booking confirmation.

6. What meal plan is included in the stay?
In the winter season, we exclusively offer our indulgence board (half board plus). In the summer season, you can choose between breakfast only or indulgence board.
7. What are the restaurant meal times?
Breakfast buffet: 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Afternoon snack buffet: 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Dinner: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
(last arrival at 8:00 p.m.)
8. How is dinner structured?
In the evening, we serve a 5-course choice menu – with meat, fish, or vegetarian options. In addition, our guests can enjoy a varied salad buffet, bread selection, and cheese board.
For children, there is a children’s choice menu or a separate buffet.
9. Do you offer special meals for allergies or dietary needs (e.g. gluten-free,
lactose-free, vegetarian/vegan)?
Yes, we generally make everything possible.
Please let us know about allergies or intolerances in advance so that we can prepare everything accordingly.
10. Is a vegan menu available and what does it cost?
Yes. A vegan menu is available for an extra charge of €15 per person per day.
11. What happens in case of late evening arrival?
If you arrive late (after 8:00 p.m.), we serve a cold platter – either at the bar or in your room.
12. Is there a children’s menu?
Yes, there is a children’s choice menu or a children’s buffet.
13. Is there a dress code for dinner?
Yes. We kindly ask guests to wear appropriate clothing for dinner.
14. Are drinks included in the meal plan?
Drinks are included at breakfast. All other drinks are charged separately.
15. Can I reserve a specific seat or table?
We are happy to note your seating or table preferences (e.g. quiet area, by the window, etc.) and pass them on to our service team.
Please understand that we cannot guarantee fixed tables. However, we do our best to accommodate your wishes whenever possible.
If possible, we seat families with children together in one area or room. Dogs are only allowed in one of our three restaurant areas.

We accept all common credit and debit cards, cash payments, or advance bank transfer.

No, but we are happy to provide a fridge on request.
24. Is there air conditioning?
No. Due to our location at around 1,200 metres above sea level, air conditioning is generally not necessary.
25. Is there a kettle in the room?
A kettle is available on request from reception.
26. Is there a hairdryer in the room?
Yes, a hairdryer is available in every room.
27. How does room cleaning work?
Rooms are cleaned daily. For environmental reasons, towels are only changed if you leave them on the floor.
28. Is the hotel barrier-free / are there barrier-free accessible rooms?
Most rooms are accessible without barriers. Please note: the spa area is not barrier-free. Please ask before booking whether a barrier-free room is available.

29. Is the hotel directly accessible by public transport?
No, the hotel is not directly accessible by public transport. We offer a pick-up service from St. Johann im Pongau train station or from Wagrain town centre (for arrival and departure only).

31. Do you offer airport transfers?
We do not offer airport transfers. These must be booked independently if needed, but we are happy to assist.
32. Are there any special considerations for arrival in winter?
Yes. In winter, snow chains may be required in some cases. In addition, there is an alternative parking area in the valley – from there, we can pick up guests if necessary.
33. How far is it to the town centre?
The town centre is about 3 km away.
34. How far is it to the cable car / ski lift?
The middle station (Rote 8er gondola) is only about 300 m away.
Parking & E-Charging
35. Is parking available at the hotel and is it free of charge?
Yes, free parking spaces are available at the hotel. The parking spaces are not covered.
36. Are there charging stations for electric vehicles and how is charging
billed?
Yes, charging stations are available. You can get a charging card at reception. Charging is billed according to consumption at €0.60 per kWh.
Pets
37. Are dogs allowed at Naturhotel Edelweiss?
Yes, dogs are allowed. The surcharge is €22 per day. For other pets, please contact us in advance.
38. Are dogs allowed in the restaurant or wellness area?
Dogs are very welcome, but they are not allowed in the buffet area, spa, or fitness room. We offer a separate restaurant area for guests with dogs.
39. Is it possible to bring my dog to dinner?
Yes. If you would like to bring your dog to dinner, one of our three restaurants
are available for this purpose.
40. Are dog-friendly extras available in the room (e.g. bowl, blanket)?
Yes, dog-friendly extras such as a bowl or blanket are available on request.

41. What wellness facilities are available?
The wellness area includes an indoor pool, a steam bath, two saunas (60°C
and 90°C), and a relaxation room with a water massage lounger. In summer,
you can cool off in our natural swimming pond.
Children also have access to a separate children’s swimming pool (1.4 m water
depth).
42. What are the opening hours of the wellness area?
Wellness area in general: 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Children’s spa time: 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Sauna: from 3:00 p.m. (or on request)

43. Are there rules or age limits for children in the wellness area?
Yes. The spa and sauna area is generally intended for guests aged 12 and over. For children under 12, there is a designated children’s time from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., during which access is permitted. The children’s swimming pool can be used daily from 8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
44. Are towels and bathrobes included?
Yes, towels and bathrobes are included in the price and will be waiting for you
in the spa bag in your room.
45. Do you offer day spa and what does it cost?
Yes, you can book a day spa for €40 per day. This includes a spa bag, bathrobe, flip-flops, and towels.

Yes, we have a lovely children’s playground with a slide, swings, and an outdoor table tennis table (paddles available free of charge at reception).

Yes, there are separate areas for children and teenagers.

We offer everything you need for an uncomplicated biking holiday: a lockable bike room, tools, tour tips and maps, as well as laundry service and packed lunches on request.
We also offer E-MTB rental.

Yes, e-bikes can be charged at our hotel.
54. What does the E-MTB rental include?
We offer top-quality e-bikes from the brand Trek. All standard sizes are available. We also provide a bike helmet and bike lock.
55. Are there advantages for hotel guests at the St. Johann im Pongau golf
course?
Yes, we are a partner hotel of the St. Johann im Pongau golf course. Our guests enjoy free green fees. Golf equipment can also be borrowed from us free of charge.

Yes, we have our own tennis court, which is available free of charge for our guests – including equipment.
